The Privacy Mark System certification proves businesses that have established and implemented personal information protection management systems. These standards are assessed in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS Q 15001: [Personal Information Protection Management System – Requirements]).
Kaopiz's Journey to Achieve the Privacy Mark
Kaopiz's project to achieve the Privacy Mark was initiated in early September 2023. Kaopiz dedicated over six months to planning, collaborating with consulting teams. We were preparing all necessary procedures, and disseminating knowledge to all employees at its Tokyo branch in Japan.
In its business operations, Kaopiz handles and accesses a significant amount of personal information from partners, customers, and employees. Particularly with partners in the banking, hospital, and government sectors in Japan, protecting personal information is of utmost importance. After undergoing a rigorous inspection process by the Japan Institute for Promotion of Digital Economy and Community. Kaopiz officially achieved the Privacy Mark certification.
