After 3 months of rigorous study and hands-on experience, the 15 participants of the PM Trainee Program 2024 successfully completed Phase 1: Fundamental Knowledge Training in June.

Launched in March 2024, the PM (Project Manager) Trainee Program at Kaopiz is one of the most comprehensive training courses available. It features 15 key members from various Software Centers and aims to cultivate the next generation of Project Managers (PMs) equipped with essential skills and knowledge.

Three Phases of Training

Participants undergo a structured training regimen divided into three phases:

1. Theoretical Training: Establishing a solid foundation in project management principles.
2. On-the-Job Training: Applying learned concepts in real-world scenarios.
3. Evaluation for Official PM Selection: Assessing readiness for PM roles.

Additionally, this program is led by a distinguished faculty, including:

Mr. Ha Chi Hieu, a familiar instructor of the PM Trainee Program over the years and known for numerous projects with perfect CSS scores at Kaopiz, shared: “The program will be an interesting experience for each participant. Beyond providing basic theory, the course offers opportunities and an environment for trainees to maximize their abilities.”

Phase 1 concluded with a comprehensive final assessment. Participants created a detailed Project Plan based on a mock project, simulating real PM responsibilities. Hence, this exercise provided invaluable feedback and practical insights for their future careers.

Participant Mr. Bui Minh Tung shared: “This course has been a transformative opportunity for me to learn and refine my project management skills. The insights gained from the Board of Directors and experienced PMs at Kaopiz have broadened my perspective on work, planning, and project implementation. Therefore, this foundation will be crucial as I move into the next phase of on-the-job training.”
