On the morning of December 11, in Quang Ninh, "Digital Document Solutions for the Japanese Market – Kaopiz Smart OCR" by Kaopiz was honored in the Top 10 Companies with Outstanding Digital Technology Products for the Foreign Market at the Make In Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2023, organized by the Ministry of Information & Communications.

The "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" award is a prestigious and official recognition in the field of information technology and communications (ITC) presented annually by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) to Vietnamese organizations and businesses.

In 2023, the MIC collaborated with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) for the fourth consecutive year to organize this esteemed award. The award aims to celebrate outstanding digital technology products that bring pride to Vietnamese intellect, significantly impact the digital transformation of citizens and businesses, and contribute to the advancement of the digital government, digital economy, and digital society in Vietnam.

The 2023 awards honor five categories:

• Outstanding digital technology product for the digital government.
• Outstanding digital technology product for the digital economy (DE).
• Outstanding digital technology product for the digital society (DS).
• Outstanding digital technology product for the foreign market.
• Outstanding potential digital technology product.

Each category will honor a maximum of 10 businesses, selecting three units for Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. The category "Outstanding Digital Technology Product for the Foreign Market" made its debut this year.

Significantly, "Digital Document Solutions for the Japanese Market – Kaopiz Smart OCR" by Kaopiz excelled among numerous nominations, receiving recognition in the Top 10 Companies with the Best Digital Technology Products in 2023. This not only affirms the product's outstanding quality but also acknowledges the capabilities of the Kaopiz engineering team.

At the event, Mr. Lê Văn Hoàng – CEO of Kaopiz, shared that the award is not only a significant motivation for Kaopiz and technology businesses in general to continuously innovate and research, but also contributing even more to the journey of bringing Vietnamese technology products, created by Vietnamese engineers, to succeed in the international market. CEO Le Van Hoang emphasized that this award is the result of the relentless efforts of the Kaopiz team in conquering the international market.

The Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2023 is part of the National Forum for the Development of Vietnam's Digital Technology Enterprises – VFTE 2023. The event took place at the Planning Exhibition Palace, Halong City, Quang Ninh Province, with the theme "Innovating Digital Applications for Digital Economic Development – Motivation for Economic Growth and Labor Productivity." The program was directed by the Minister of Information and Communications, with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister Trần Hồng Hà, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Quang Ninh, along with leaders and leading ICT businesses in Vietnam.
