A day filled with precision plays, breath-holding battles, and electrifying cheers—this year’s Esport299 festival delivered unforgettable moments as Kaopiz celebrated our 11th anniversary with an exhilarating Lien Quan Mobile tournament. The event concluded on a high note, honoring the top-performing teams and showcasing the strong sense of unity that defines the Kaopiz spirit.

Last weekend, nearly 50 Kaopizers gathered to compete and support our colleagues in one of September’s most anticipated internal events. From the group stage onward, each team delivered eye-catching performances, combining impressive skill with admirable teamwork.

A Weekend of Passionate Competition

Even though the event took place on a weekend, participation was overwhelming as we filled the venue with excitement.

SBU2xFlash dominated early, sweeping all five of their group-stage matches and establishing themselves as the team to beat. Not far behind, SBU2xCủChuối quickly became one of the most feared opponents of the tournament. Meanwhile, SBU1xKhét and SBU1xFlashW faced a tougher road, barely securing their spots in the next round — only to spark a series of surprising upsets later on.

Unexpected Twists and Rising Underdogs

The knockout stage brought shockwaves across the tournament.

SBU1xKhét delivered the biggest surprise of the day by eliminating strong contender CủChuối to advance in the winners’ bracket. Not to be outdone, SBU1xFlashW caused another major upset, sending CủChuối out of the competition in a nail-biting match that left all of us stunned.

In the losers’ bracket final, SBU1xKhét once again proved their resilience, defeating SBU1xFlashW to earn a spot in the grand final against the tournament favorite — SBU2xFlash.

A Dominant Champion Emerges

Although SBU1xKhét fought with remarkable determination and delivered several explosive plays, they ultimately fell to the unstoppable momentum of SBU2xFlash. With an undefeated run from start to finish, SBU2xFlash claimed the championship title in commanding fashion.
